Distance from galactic core: LY

System default name: Lazovsko IV

Star type:

Dominant lifeform:

Economy:

Checked for experimental/alien multitools?

No

Travel notes:

I'm installing an Emeril drive to open up all possible routes.

My next destination is to pick up the weapons guy for my base. The objective is taking me towards the edge of the galaxy, directly opposite my route to galactic center. Lame.

YZN 1-G Alpha

Default name: Sesan XVII

Distance: u

Type:

Notes:

Not sure what notes I should be taking. Who wants to read my opinions about what's cool or not? And can't a lot of this information be looked up like the type of planet and what's on it? No sense in writing it down if that's the case.

YZN 1-G Beta

Default name: Ninyvalap

Distance: u

Type:

Notes:

While pulsing from alpha to beta, I looked to the right and saw two suns. Looks like a blue one and a red one. But on the galaxy map I thought this was a yellow star?

I forgot to check the orbits could have alpha and beta backwards. Don't know. Probably not but don't know.

Dominant lifeform:

Economy:

Checked for experimental/alien multitools?

No

Travel notes:

I can't seem to get to get the Galaxy map to show the orbits of the planets. I may not be able to do this in VR. Disappointing!

I'm going to sit out in front of the space station and check the distances to each planet. I'm assuming that the closest one to the space station is also the closest one to the star.

I'll write down the distances and the names and then hop out of VR without landing on anything. And then do my regular method on desktop. Do this at a couple of systems before rolling it out.

Got to drop off everything that's not necessary for survival on to the freighter because I keep getting attacked.

YZN 1-H Alpha

Default name: Nohopei Omega

Notes:

May set up a base here. Found settlements in my colors and I like the cold weather.

YZN 1-H Beta

Default name: Shirle

Distance: u

Notes:

So this one is called a finned planet. Definitely an unusual biome. There's capillary shells laying around and some flocks of flying creatures that are making me nervous.

The ground randomly lit on fire. At night.

YZN 1-H Delta

Took a sentinel's stuff but it just looked at me and went the other way. Guess it didn't want the smoke.

This place feels hella Jurassic. Really tall and steep mountains and valleys. And death fog, apparently. Whatever that is.

Travel notes:

First jump on the way to a system on the edge of the galaxy named Bishop. It sounds cool, and for some reason I like the idea of discovering and making a base on a cool-sounding system on the edge of the galaxy.

I have it set as a custom waypoint. Current freighter jump range is ~3000LY. Will farm more hyperdrive upgrades. Freighter is Class B so I'm not gonna get the 6000 range unfortunately.

I'll be pissed if I get halfway there and the waypoint vanishes somehow.

Notes:

What's a scaly planet? Going to have to check this one out.

Huh. Very sci-fi.

I used a commercial cartographic planetary chart, which revealed a "boundary failure". No idea what it's for but looks important.
